Information about the photos
I usually give my photos a "facelift" in Adobe Photoshop. However, I do not change the scene. What I actually do is cropping, adjusting levels, hue/saturation, brightness/contrast and sharpening. I do not remove parts from a photo, nor adding parts. What you see on the photo is what I actually saw in the viewfinder the moment I pressed the release button. Why I do the "facelift"? Because I'll present you a photo that is as close to the original scene as possible. During the process of scanning a photo (paper print) or scanning and burning a slide to a CD, a lot of details get lost and the brightness and contrast may not be the same anymore. That's why I spend time in front of my computer perfectionilaysing the image for your pleasure. I have inserted a watermarked (Digimark) on some of the photos. This for easier tracking of illegal use of my photos. The watermark isn't that strong, and will in general not inflict the photos quality ( in some cases in can make the photo look a little fuzzy or unsharp). If you want to learn more about watermarking or you want software to insert/finding watermarks in a image, go to Digimarks homepage.
